Track four on Vjeezy’s new album is “Napapata,” featuring Olios Records lead artist Yo Maps. The seasoned DJ and producer has put out a project entitled “Standing On Business.” This project highlights Vjeezy’s work ethic and ability to bring together some of the biggest names in African music.
The album is a hefty 17 tracks deep and features an impressive 33 artists, balancing the old and new generations of hitmakers. The features on the album include Chef 187, Dizmo, Slapdee, Ice Prince, Jorzzi, Drifta Trek, Jay Rox, Macky 2, T-Sean, Blood Kid, Willz Mr Nyopole, Long Boy, Triple M, and many more. Each record has its own vibe, testing various genres from rap and R&B to Afropop and dancehall.
Vjeezy replicates the magnitude of his debut project “Fuego,” which also had 17 songs and 32 contributors. Interestingly enough, many of the same names like Yo Maps, Ice Prince, Bow Chase, and Cinori XO appear on both projects, proving Vjeezy consistently builds sound musical partnerships.
